O.P Industries Company BackgroundO. P. Industries has successfully operated in the Mechanical Services, Air Conditioning, Process and Stainless Steel Fabrication for over 30 years. O. P. Industries was founded in Wangaratta by Lou Onley and Graeme Plumridge. The company has since operated successfully throughout Northern Victoria and New South Wales for many years. The Wangaratta business successfully delivered many major projects including Wangaratta hospital and relocation of the Australian Defence Industries to Benalla. The group’s manufacturing base is in Wangaratta. Our Wangaratta factory has a large sheet metal, duct work, and stainless steel fabrication capabilities. In 1993 in conjunction with Earl Sakareassen the company opened an office in Melbourne. The Melbourne operation has grown steadily from this time to be currently one of the leading Mechanical Services contractors in the state, specialising in hospital, pharmaceutical, commercial and industrial works. Our city and regional operations work closely together giving the company a unique position within the industry O. P. Industries is capable of utilising our extensive experience and resources to undertake major developments across all areas of Victoria. Our expertise developed through years of mechanical services and process pipe work projects within the Victoria’s wine and food industries, have put us in a unique position to undertake specialised industrial projects within metropolitan Melbourne. O. P. Industries has a dedicated design and engineering team, which allows us to undertake the design and installation of specialised projects. O. P. Industries also has full NEBB certification and QA procedures allowing us to deliver and commission projects to the demanding standards of the pharmaceutical industries, defence force projects, hospitals and other critical sites. O. P. Industries (Melbourne) Pty Ltd. recently delivered several major projects including: ‘Freshwater Place Residential’ a 60- story development on Southbank; ‘Spencer Street Station- West End Plaza / DFO’ and the ‘DSTO Rationalization project’ for the Australian Defence Force.
